The United Nations proclaimed May 22 as the International Day of Biodiversity to promote a better understanding and awareness of the issues surrounding this topic. The theme chosen for 2011 is forests biodiversity.
Thus, it’s encouraged the organization of activities and events to celebrate this day, raising public awareness, provide examples of good practice and aims to organize future actions to preserve forest biodiversity.
At the Center of Education and Agro-Biodiversity Research “Acad David Davidescu” there were a number of speeches and scientific communications. The three Biodiversity priorities are : Intelligent Biodiversity, Sustainable Biodiversity, Integrated Biodiversity .
